You're telling them your whole life voluntarily. How do you see these connections happen and still not get it. Unless you're using a HOSTS file that blocks 30-odd Facebook and Google domains, as well as popular trackers, you're almost certainly being tracked everywhere. Other dataminers may have tracking on the page that tells Facebook. If there are links on the webpage then Facebook knows you visited youtube. If they cooperate then Facebook knows you visited youtube. So.how? Presumably google doesn't let their main competitor stick a tracking pixel on their prime real estate video platform so how did they know? Normally I'd dismiss this as coincidence / confirmation bias etc.but that was just too fast and directly linked. Never interacted / searched for anything around this comedian outside of youtube so in theory there isn't an electronic trail outside of google's us of course whoever they share info withĭouble checked my youtube privacy settings - my subscriptions aren't public Used different browsers (same IP though), both adblocked & piholed It was across what I had assumed would be separate commercial interest "walled gardens" that isn't real time integrated - Google vs Facebook Don't know exactly.but something in the 5 minute range.
